Artist involved in the making of Scenes on the Yarra
Yarra Glen
Elle Wolfhagen and Rollander Mackenzie--
Elle and Rolly work together to create intricate rope sculptures set in juxtaposition to their natural environment. Inspired by fractal art; the recurring patterns in nature and by the absurd and unbeautiful disharmony of urban living, Elle and Rolly seek to align these worlds in their art. Creating utilised spaces, they seek to comment on the forceful collision of nature/fabrication and the unnatural separation from our primordial beginnings
