Memory Keeper / Poem
My images of Herring island were inspired by the natural environment and beauty that has been created through great adversity, and drastic changes the development of Melbourne made to the river overall. The images are of ordinary things I've seen that create a visual memory of my time on the island.
the environment we inhabit. The fragility of weathered leaves and dryness of the earth reminds me that our land is a container of contrasts and the water which nourishes this environment fills the void of balance.
I am a container of contrasts striving for balance and clarity in direction.
